This tour is designed to learn, explore, and taste the artesian sweet products from Alicante. We will start our day by traveling to Jijona, located only 15km from Alicante, this town focuses on turron (nougat, a sweet almond candy) production. We will visit a small family run factory of turron and taste the different varieties. We will then travel to Villajoyosa, famous for its colorful historic district and production of chocolate. In Villajoyosa we will visit a small family run chocolate factory, one of the only three remaining in the town. If you have a sweet tooth, don’t miss this tour!
